The 2020 Session of NH Boys State is taking place on June 21 through June 26, 2020
Boys State is hosted by Saint Anselm College located in Manchester, NH
Boys State is open to New Hampshire high school students who are between have finished their Junior year and will be entering their Senior Year.

American Legion New Hampshire Boys State is open to young men who have completed their junior year of high school and who are ready to enter the senior class in the fall. Applicants who meet the following criteria will be selected:
Attends a New Hampshire high school or is a resident of the State of New Hampshire;
Scholastic average should be an 80 or better;
Must be of good character and in good health;
Should demonstrate qualities of leadership, character and good citizenship; and
Must submit a draft bill or resolution with application.
There is no limit on the number of qualified candidates who may attend from a particular high school. Home-school students may attend, provided that they meet the eligibility requirements.

The only costs that an individual student must bear for American Legion New Hampshire Boys State are his non-refundable $25.00 application fee, transportation to and from Saint Anselm College, and any desired incidentals during the week.
Community sponsors and American Legion posts pay the remaining $335.00 in tuition, which covers room, board, snacks, materials, the costs of instruction, and all in-program transportation from the point of registration to graduation.
April 14, 2020: With deep regret, due to the ongoing public health emergency, the American Legion - Department of New Hampshire has cancelled the 2020 session of Boys State, which was scheduled to take place on June 21-26 in Manchester. This site will be updated in September 2020 with information about plans for the 2021 session. We appreciate your interest in the program and wish you and yours safety and good health.
