2021 New Hampshire Boys State
The 2021 Session of New Hampshire Boys State will take place from June 20 – 25, 2021 at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. Applications are open now for high school juniors and seniors who meet the following criteria:
Attends a New Hampshire high school or is a resident of the State of New Hampshire.
Scholastic average should be an 80 or better.
Must be of good character and in good health.
Should demonstrate qualities of leadership, character, and good citizenship.
There is no limit on the number of qualified candidates who may attend from a particular high school. Home-school students may attend, provided that they meet the eligibility requirements.
The only costs that an individual student must bear for American Legion New Hampshire Boys State are his non-refundable $25.00 application fee, transportation to and from Saint Anselm College, and any desired incidentals during the week. Community sponsors and American Legion posts pay the remaining $335.00 tuition, which covers room, board, snacks, materials, the costs of instruction, and all in-program transportation from the point of registration to graduation.

The American Legion Auxiliary runs the Girls State program for young women. Additional information about that program is available here.
Boys who will have completed their junior or senior year in 2021 will be accepted if they meet the following requirements: 1) maintain a scholastic average of 80 or better; 2) must be of good character and health; and 3) should have outstanding qualities of leadership, good citizenship, and courage.
