Program Staff

Cody Aubin
Chair
Cody Aubin is the Chair of the program and a 2013 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State, where he was elected President of the Senate. Mr. Aubin and the committee are responsible for the design, support, and funding of Boys State. He graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2018 with a degree in Politics and History, and wrote his thesis on legislative norms and partisan polarization in the U.S. Senate. He currently works in Manchester, NH as an Investor Relations Manager at a venture capital firm.

Grant Johnson
Director
Grant Johnson is the Director of the program and a 2014 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State and Boys Nation. Mr. Johnson graduated from Hollis-Brookline High School before attending High Point University, where he earned a B.A. in History and a Master's in Educational Leadership. After eight years as an educator and school administrator in the South, Mr. Johnson has accepted a position as Assistant Principal at Springfield High School in Springfield, Vermont.

Dody Eid
Assistant Director
Dody Eid is the Assistant Director of the program and a 2015 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State and American Legion Boys Nation. He graduated from Nashua High School South as Valedictorian before attending Harvard University for his undergraduate studies, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class as a John Harvard Scholar, and the University of Notre Dame for his MBA, where he was named one of the Top 100 Best and Brightest MBAs globally by Poets&Quants Magazine. Mr. Eid is an economic consultant at Analysis Group and founder of the award-winning technology startup TriviaLinked. He enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his Catholic faith.

Kyle Duffy
Marketing Director, Senior Staff
Kyle Duffy is a Senior Staff member and Marketing Director of the program and a 2019 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State and Boys Nation. Mr. Duffy attended American University in Washington D.C., where he completed a five-year Master of Public Policy program. He currently works as a Policy Analyst and Field Coordinator at The Concord Coalition and Concord Action. In his free time, Kyle plays in numerous ultimate frisbee leagues.

Nick Gagnon
Senior Staff
Nick Gagnon is a Senior Staff member of the program and a 2021 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State. Mr. Gagnon graduated from Spaulding High School before attending Northeastern University, where he is completing his degree in Electrical Engineering, with plans to graduate in December 2026. In his free time, Nick enjoys playing music and spending time with friends and family.

Koustav Datta
Senior Staff
Koustav Datta is a Senior Staff member of the program and a 2021 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State, where he served as assessor of his municipality and treasurer of the state. Mr. Datta graduated from Nashua High School North before attending the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics. He currently works as a research assistant at Boston Children's Hospital researching renal cancer.

Jake Bilicki
Junior Staff
Jake Bilicki is a Junior Staff member of the program and a 2022 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State, where he was awarded the Eli A. Marcoux Award. Mr. Bilicki graduated from Timberlane Regional High School before attending Bentley University, where he is currently a rising junior. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and working out.

Trevor Abel
Junior Staff
Trevor Abel is a Junior Staff member of the program and a 2024 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State, where he was elected President of the Senate, and Boys Nation. Mr. Abel graduated from Bow High School in 2025 before attending the University of Notre Dame, where he is pursuing a degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics as a Stamps Scholar and Glynn Honors student. He enjoys playing music and performing with the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra and Marching Band.

Tyler Sweeney
Senior Staff Emeritus
Mr. Sweeney is a 2011 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State, where he served as town Moderator and Speaker of the House. He served on the Boys State staff for more than a decade and is on a temporary leave this year. Mr. Sweeney currently serves as a utility analyst at the New Hampshire Department of Energy and as Chairman of the New Hampshire Hydrogen Advisory Committee.

Alex Henlin
Chair Emeritus
Mr. Henlin is a 1996 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State and American Legion Boys Nation. He first joined the Boys State program staff as a junior counselor in 1997; from 2015 through 2017, he served as a Co-Director of Boys State; from 2018 through 2022, he served as Chair. Mr. Henlin graduated from Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, and he earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He is a partner in the Concord law firm of Sulloway & Hollis, P.L.L.C., and is a member of Squadron 54 (Bedford) of the Sons of the American Legion.

Keith Luter
Director Emeritus
Mr. Luter is a 2000 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State, joining the staff the following year and serving as Director from 2018 to 2022. He graduated from Bishop Guertin High School before earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science from George Mason University in 2005, and a master's degree in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College in 2011. Mr. Luter began a career in the Federal government in 2005 and resides in Clifton, Virginia with his wife and two children.

Tim Stackhouse
Assistant Director Emeritus
Mr. Stackhouse is a 2011 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State and American Legion Boys Nation. He graduated from Exeter High School before attending The George Washington University, where he studied Finance. Mr. Stackhouse served on the Boys State staff for more than a decade, including as Assistant Director, and currently works in the Greater Boston area.

Trevor Nozell
Senior Staff Emeritus
Trevor grew up in Merrimack and graduated from Boys State in 2012. He completed his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Norwich University in 2017 before joining the Army as an Airborne Infantry Officer. Trevor was named as a Fellow at the Norwich University Peace and War Center upon the publication of a conflict analysis while visiting Israel and Palestine. Currently, Trevor is an AMGA Certified Rock Climbing instructor based out of Tennessee.

Benjamin Drye
Senior Staff Emeritus
Mr. Drye is a 2012 alumnus of New Hampshire Boys State. He received Associate of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Management from River Valley Community College before earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Plymouth State University in 2020. Mr. Drye served on the Boys State staff for more than a decade and currently works as a staff accountant at a private investment firm. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and exploring the back roads of New Hampshire.
